FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Excel Training OfferedDouble XL Seminar Series11/17/04 -- A five part instructor led series of courses designed to train users in Microsoft® Excel from the very basic to the most advanced level is being offered through Mesa, Arizona based Brandtrock Consulting. The courses vary from what has previously been available in two very important ways. Flexibility and cost are the main concerns of most persons trying to improve their Excel skills. Traditionally, the low cost training solution has been the purchase of a book, CD, DVD, video tape or combination of these. Unfortunately, even the best of these products suffers from heavy reliance on the motivation of the end user. If these products are not used within a few days of purchase, the majority wind up going unused altogether. The solution, so far, to this problem has been to go to an instructor led training center or to use an online version of this same concept. While this method does overcome the "shelving" effect, the biggest drawback is the cost. Courses generally run several hundred dollars with no reduction in cost for the student who possesses skills that are being taught. This is a waste of time as well as money. The Double XL Seminar Series overcomes both of these obstacles. The seminars are scheduled monthly on a weekend at various sites. A thorough testing of each student's skill level ensures that the student is not herded into a course that covers what they already know how to do. This deals directly with the cost savings component. The five modules in the seminar are priced individually. Students only pay to learn what they need or want to learn how to do with Excel. Students are able to stop paying after increasing their skills to a level they are comfortable with. Other instructor led courses don't offer this flexibility as they are priced as one component. While you can cease going to the classes, you get no benefit as you miss out on the information and your money is gone. For more information go to http://www.brandtrock.com
